With this update, you can:

• Gain clearer, more reliable usage insights — See per-account traffic data mapped at the source for accurate reporting and billing.

• Control scalability on your terms — Deploy the receiver on hardware sized to your traffic demands, avoiding cloud-side bottlenecks.

• Reduce dropped data and inaccuracies — Shorter network paths mean fewer dropped packets and tighter data consistency.

• Stay resilient through outages — Usage summaries queue automatically during connectivity issues, keeping your reporting intact.

How It Works:

1. Install the NetFlow receiver on your own hardware inside your network perimeter.

2. Point your routers to send NetFlow data directly to your on-premise receiver.

3. The receiver ingests and maps flows to the correct customer accounts automatically—no separate mapping syncs required.

4. Usage summaries transmit to Sonar every five minutes over periodic TCP bundles, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
