New Feature: A Clearer Link Between Inventory & Data Services

We’re excited to announce a new feature that brings greater transparency to your account setup: you can now directly tie a specific inventory item—like a router or radio—to the data service it delivers.

With this update, you can:

• Link a service to the exact device delivering it: Associate a data service with a specific piece of hardware (like a router or ONT) right on the account.

• Improve data clarity and visibility: Know exactly which device is delivering which service—no more notes or naming workarounds.

• Reduce troubleshooting time: When issues arise, your team can instantly see how each service is wired and where it’s coming from.

• Generate more accurate reports: Tighter service-hardware mapping means cleaner data and sharper operational insights.

How It Works:

1. Navigate to an account and view the data service you want to update.

2. Select the associated inventory item—you’ll now see a dedicated field for linking a specific device to that service.

3. Use the bulk linking tool to streamline setup across many accounts at once, especially for deployed inventory already in use.

4. Maintain links manually over time—while the bulk tool is a great start, future updates to links will need to be done by you (or integrated into your internal processes).

This means no more guesswork or workarounds when managing service relationships. With clean, structured connections between services and hardware, you get faster insight and more reliable records.
