WISPAMERICA 2023 Recap: Sonar Software at the WISP Conference

Sonar Software exhibited at WISPAMERICA 2023 in Louisville, Kentucky from March 6th to 9th, joining over 1,500 telecommunications professionals to network, present an inventory asset tracking session, and connect with ISP integration partners.

The **Sonar** team was in Louisville, Kentucky from March 6th - 9th exhibiting at the 2023 WISPAMERICA conference. It brought over 1,500 people together to connect about the evolving telecommunications industry. There were many educational and networking sessions regarding the most up-to-date technology concerning ISPs. We had an amazing time on the show floor, attending sessions and speaking at sessions. This was a valuable time in which the Sonar team loved getting the opportunity to meet people and learn more about their roles in the ISP industry.

Day 1: Setting Up the Booth

On Monday, everyone got to Louisville, Kentucky safely! The team assembled the booth in all its glory in preparation for Tuesday. Talk about hard work!

Day 2: Speed Dating and the Exhibitor Hall

On Tuesday, the team attended the Speed Dating Session where many connections were made. They got to learn about different companies and their roles, which is a great source of networking.

After the speed dating session, the team got to experience the first exhibitor hall hours and it turned out to be a great time! They were handing out amazing SWAG bags and engaging with the many people! There were lots of positive conversations flowing and live demos shown at the booth. Everyone had a successful day and ended with a team bonding dinner.

Day 3: ISP Inventory Asset Tracking Session

On Wednesday, our Strategic Account Director at Sonar, Georgette Lopez-Aguado, presented Inventory Asset Tracking From Vehicles to CPE. It was a great informational session about where to track inventory for ISPs and what systems should be used. It was an amazing opportunity to present with Senet and 3HV.

The whole team also got time on the exhibitor floor where the Sonar team got to make more connections and show what Sonar Software is all about.

Day 4: Women of WISPA Breakfast

On Thursday, Sonar sponsored the Women of WISPA Breakfast along with Calix and Preseem. It was a great time to network with other women in the telecommunications industry and get to hear about new projects, professional advice and being a woman in the tech industry. It was beneficial learning about the current trends that many telecom companies are facing, both positives and potential roadblocks.

Partners: Meeting Sonar's Integration Partners

It was so nice to see some of our integration partners in person and visit their booths. We got to stop by Tower Coverage, Positron, Preseem and Market Broadband!

Overall, the Sonar team had a great time at the WISPAMERICA conference. It was such valuable time getting to see people in person and interacting with all areas of the telecom industry. Our team had some great conversations and participated in sessions that turned out to be a successful conference!
