This launch brings the same seamless, fully integrated payment experience our U.S. customers rely on—now localized for Canadian infrastructure and compliance. From onboarding to monthly reporting, every part of SonarPay Canada is built to support your operations and meet regulatory standards with less effort.
With this update, you can:
Streamline payments with full support for Canadian regulations, including native integration with Payrix Canada’s API.
Get clear, actionable reporting with a new monthly merchant statement and card-type-level fee breakdowns.
Auto-reconcile returned ACH payments without manual tracking or data entry.
Reduce operational friction with faster disbursement tracking and fewer tool-switches.
Transfer payment tokens easily when migrating or updating customer info.
How It Works:
Start enrollment by heading to your Billing Settings and selecting SonarPay Canada.
Complete the simple 3-step onboarding flow to provide the required business info.
Once approved, you’ll receive a Canada-specific Merchant ID to begin processing through Payrix Canada.
This isn’t just a market expansion—it’s a regulatory lift.
To meet Canada’s financial compliance standards, we added multi-MID smart reporting (including per-card-type fees), disbursement tracking improvements, and a consolidated monthly merchant statement designed to meet FCAC Code of Conduct requirements. Every detail is designed to help you reconcile with confidence, stay audit-ready, and eliminate confusion around fee structures.
