Services are individual billable items, like a data plan, and packages bundle several services into one offering. Both recur on the billing cycle you configure, and Sonar prorates charges automatically when a service starts or ends mid-cycle.
How does Sonar handle ISP tax compliance?
Sonar's Avalara integration calculates tax automatically across US states and Canadian provinces. You can also set manual taxes by geography and apply tax exemptions per account, with specific handling for voice-line taxes.
What payment methods does Sonar billing support?
Credit cards, bank accounts (ACH), and PayPal, for both one-time payments and recurring auto-pay. ACH payments can be processed individually or batched, and invoices can be batched for email or print.
How does Delinquency Management work?
Sonar automates suspension and dunning for accounts in arrears, and Delinquency Exclusions let you exempt specific accounts or services from collections. Vacation Mode pauses billing for temporarily inactive subscribers.
Can Sonar bill on cycles longer than one month?
