New Feature: Anchor Linked Package Support

We’re excited to announce a powerful upgrade to anchor-linked billing: full support for packages. This means you can now offer bundled services—like internet, TV, and phone—at scale for MDUs and HOAs, with all the flexibility and control you’re used to.

With this update, you can:

• Define packages within your anchor billing defaults and apply them across all linked accounts.
• Apply subsidies at the package level to streamline billing for groups like HOAs or landlords.
• Override package names and service names to keep things clear for your team or your customers.
• Control roll-up behavior independently for each billing default—without impacting how the package behaves elsewhere.

This brings everything you love about anchor-linked services to your bundled offerings, creating a more efficient, scalable billing experience.

How It Works:

1. Start in your billing defaults: On the anchor-linked address, you’ll now see a section for Available Packages in addition to services.
2. Customize if needed: Optional overrides let you rename packages or services, change pricing, or adjust roll-up settings—without affecting the package elsewhere in your instance.
3. Assign to linked accounts: Use the new Packages button on any linked account to apply packages defined in the anchor’s billing default.
4. Schedule with ease: Packages can be added to scheduled events just like services. (Note: Name overrides for packages aren’t yet reflected in scheduled events, but we’re working on aligning this for consistency.)

Everything behaves just as you’d expect, making it easy to add this functionality without disrupting your current setup.
